The Happy thread - Positive posts only :-)

I am a moley mf who needs to keep an eye out for what my moles are up to, so I am pleased your what sounds like sus moles have come back benign!

I have a yearly checkup where they take an image of you - front, back, left, right, top, bottom, and map all your moles. Takes a good hour, and they do an inspection of every single mole too.

Then on a year by year basis they see the ones that change - and clearly on my back I can't see then at all. They spotted some which had changed and looking dysplastic, so as a precaution they lobbed them off. Problem whilst it was only 8 stitches and quite a deep wound on the back meant that I couldn't do ANYTHING. even tying my shoes would cause it tug on my stitches, sleeping wasn't fun either. As someone that is active it was quite tough not being able to do any exercise... but I used it as an opportunity to focus on my mindfulness and enjoy Christmas a bit more.

But anyway, I can't urge people who have moles to get them checked out. I'm not a sun worshiper and despite having olive skin I am careful in the sun. it's so easy to not spot these sort of things and so easily treatable if you get it sorted early.

Have to admit the NHS moved very quickly on this.

I am literally in this exact situation (awaiting results) stitches on middle lower back, healing very well but just an annoying bit that keeps minorly bleeding due to scab and then I move and it sets it off.
I'd also suggest people get them checked asap. I put it off for years because of COVID and anxiety about going to the drs.
But hey, even if I left it too late at least I don't have to worry about getting old (that's a positive)

^ Wholesome :)

It's a bit rainy here this morning, January 27th, but today is going to be kickass rad, I can feel it in my bones.

January is such a weird month here in NZ because as well as the Christmas break we also slip into 4 day weeks due to regional and the national holidays so it's not really until February that folks remember how to be responsible adults. Until then we can have fun :)

Just had a poop, not any ordinary poop mind you. One of those ones that just drops out with minimal effort yet still makes you pull a funny face.

Most pleasing.
