512 k just seems so slow, it's what I had 6 years ago when we just got adsl, loads of free speed ups since then...

nope! was healing a few heavys actually
healing an AFKer wouldnt make the healing go up as their health would be 100% all the time, have to heal someone whos in battle/multiple people!managed to absolutely smash my record of number of points in 1 life as any class
52 points in 1 life as a medic!
Closest to that is 22 as an engineer or demoman

Lol, aye I know I know. I've moved back home with my mum untill I find a place of my own, it's like living in the 90's. 512k, VHS, immersion heating... the lot!

Ive got a full 8meg connection, 800k/s and a 5 meg .bmp is still stupid. Just use jpg with 10% compression and it'll be a tenth of the size with the same image quality.
If you dont know how to do that, ask. Maybe the OP can specify a maximum file size

Jpg smears the colors terribly in some games, escpecially games like SC4, but my reason is I'm just too lazy to convert liek 10 pictures
, I'll try using png or jpg in the future though .I've got 8 real mb's too ( paying for 20 mb but line is too poor ) yet for me it seems to be acceptable, with 80 posts per page (the maximum) in the forum stettings I still believe the page loads after 30-45 secs, which is not an issue as I usually open like 5 tabs at once any how and read other first before I come to this thread...
As for the last comment: This thread is exactly for people who do not want to worry about size and dimensions, the 800x600 thread is already for the poor connection people they post the thumbnails of bigger pics there anyways
, I'd reckon there'd be a 3rd screenshot thread if the op decided to restrict this thread to silly rules, if people with a slow connection complain, that doesn't mean everyone has to, I am sure there are people here with 24 mb connections...Anyways for games like openttd and sc4 I'll try to use PNG in the future, and for other proper 3d games I'll try to use JPg, just don't kill me if I forget it once in the future

Just a test to see difference between jpg and bmp. The JPG version was saved using photofiltre. It was saved with the quality slider all the way up and progressive option. Knock it down from a 5mb file to just under 800kb.

Absolutely no difference, apart from file size. JPG at full quality looks lossless and is much more sophisticated than BMP, it does not smear colours. My connection may suck, but even if I were on 20mb I would prefer JPG, the superior image format for the web. Please dont use PNG either!
