The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

Master Crysis Config.
Wow that looks awesome, what hardware are you running on?
I've not got that far into the game yet, I spend too much time shooting down trees and blowing up sheds with grenades :(
Can't believe I bought the game on release day and only actually got round to playing it recently, everyone saying it was terrible in terms of gameplay but I'm really enjoying it! :o

I just played through that part of the game on my X1900XT at 1280x720 with high details (but medium shadows) and even though it was running at like 20fps, its still looked awesome, better than most games running at 1920x1200 with AA :D

amazing gfx, what fps?
i had about 25fps but i didnt really check at that part it was previous. Runs pretty smooth enough to play though.

Geforce 4 wasn't compatible with bf2 without a mod, even then stuff like tanks etc. would be invisible due to lack of shader support, you sure?

Yea Im sure. I played in the heli because theres no shell shock and invisible tanks have less relevance, got a 9800pro 3 months later

How can people play FPS games at below 30fps? Yep, it looks nice, but still...

crysis is a bit weird it seems far smoother than it should be at low fps.

But still enough to annoy me so much i still haven't played it for more than 20 mins.

The water on that config looks goregeous, looks proper 3D rather than a pixel shader trick.

By the way, I've found Crysis to be playable above 25fps and at 30fps, it looks pretty damn smooth. It's the full screen motion blur, similiar to what they use in CGI movies.

I turned off the motion blur and it still seems smooth.

Lego Indiana Jones

All 1920x1200 on Vista 32bit very smooth 60FPS.
Not the greatest looking game ever although some of the texure work is outstanding (these screenshots do not show you how good it is as Fraps will not capture all of the water shader FX).
A lot of fun and very old school gameplay with once again the PC version being the one to get as it has no technical issues that the console version have like poor FPS or screen tearing.
Definately one of the greatest PC platform games of all time.

It's easily playable, above 30 fps is more spoilage tbh than more playable...
I haven't found one game yet I needed more than 45 fps in ( which was in GTA:SA during MTA ( or samp, cant remember but one of them has a lame frame limit of 25), when I looked sideways in a tunnel while driving it looked stuttery with the frame limiter on @ 25...).

I used to play games for ages on fps like 20-25 because I liked eye candy, I used to play stuff like GoW and Bioshock on high sets & low fps on my 6800GS...
