Get the resolution patch from here and follow the instructions in the read me file. If you're using Vista you may need to set write access permissions for your Fallout directory, especially if you have UAC enabled.

That patch is for Fallout 2, the same patch for Fallout 1 can be found here.

After the WAR beta registration shambles I got a refund and am reinstalling Lotr Online now...well I would be until I found out about these huge 'Book' updates I have to install! Got that done and now the patcher is updating the main game files!
