Well the war shots so far look a lot like wow. Thought it was a bit odd as the preview pics a while back looked quite good.

well of course since both games got orcs, goblins, dwarves etc.. surely some stuff should be close, it's like comparing car games or something... its unlikely that two F1 games look a lot different 
but if you look at the pics comparing WAR and WoW characters don't frigging tell me it looks close in the graphical style !!!

Those are very generic characters. Orcs and Goblins with green skin and ragged armour have beena round long before WoW was released (like, for example, in the early 80's, when the Warhammer table top game began). And dwarves with long plaited beards? that's a new one too
That was supposed to show how different they are, not how similar

Why does every fantasy game have to follow the same tolkienesque stereotype though?? Theres just no imagination in the genre at all.

Ask games workshop. WH had to conform to a tight spec to maintain their use of the IP, which is why there is no dancing etc. They simply worked with what they had.

Oh yeah I understand Warhammer doing it, its a long standing universe with a devout fanbase.
i can't argue that the MMO world lacks novelty, but on the other hand MMO are the more demanding of all the games to make and even tho you can fail miserably at the end (AoC anyone ? ) so i can understand that companies won't take too much risks while making an mmo. Even Halo cancelled their try at it, guess they were too afraid to lose too much money who knows!
I really enjoyed Dark Messiah - even though it took me a good few minutes to remember what it was called!

That truck obviously needs me with AA on it
Easiest way to get kills at the start of the round and is just sit at the back of the truck with AA ready, always works.

It's going to be a while before a game more beautiful than crysis is released. Playing through it im totally blown away and it runs so much better than the 1st game.
it was the game i thought it would be, walking into it i had no expectations but it is VERY short, something like 5 levels which is pretty pathetic really, considering there was only 2 new weapons and most of the other assets where just reused from the original
