Army game looks fantastic

Lord of the Rings is by a mile the best looking MMO I think. I still think Warcraft looks beautiful at times, but Lord of the Rings on high looks brilliant.

Any ideas how to reduce shimmering? I have an ATI4850 and the shimmering on trees, lines on the aircraft etc is terrible when zoomed out a bit! Also ive installed and run REX but it looks nothing like yours what so ever! Dont suppose you could talk me through it on msn or somewhere? Cant seem to find out how to PM on here..

If you check out my posts in both this thread and the flight sim thread, there should be lots of info and links I written that should help with that problem. I think I posted 2 links just recently in this thread about some website that provide excellent written help for improving FSX and solving GFX issues. If you still get stuck, just post a screenshot of your fsx with the problem, but I am sure the links I have given in the past will help you. Cheers.

I've tried it with just about any compatiblity mode, nothing worked for gta iv, even not supersampling...

I can remember when i bought gta 4 for the PC,I was looking forward to this game so much,Then rockstar made a right mess of it lol! it was a verry bad port.shame really.

looks better on pc mate....

In fact i sold it on 360 as i couldnt see what was going on and the framerate tanked below 30 fps far too much.

are you serious? i think it looks better on xbox from what ive seen of them screenies... yeah fps does suck, but image quality.
