Is Arma2 just a game where people dressed in cammo walkthrough the local forest ground? Thought it was an army game, where are all the explosive shots?

Sorry for anyone sick of ArmA 2 screenies

1920x1200 everything maxxed (second card is currently RMAing so low fps), quick assualt on an island at night to showoff the awesoem dynamic lighting, screenies don't do it justice. Rockets dynamically lighting the landscape as they travel to their target. Very awesome game.

Anyway

Flares going up to help blind any Night Vision users.

I've run both side by side (well about 10 feet apart) and the 360 looks worse when up and running (due to the textures I guess). Performance is also poor compared to a decent PC. Saying that, the PS3 one is even worse.

Will admit though that static PC GTA shots do look a bit nasty at times.

Love this game, the economy is so complex and yet so well balanced. It is not esay getting your settlement to run like clockwork!

huh, how come you have nice shadows? mine were all boxy like the shadows in assassins creed. Unless its been fixed since I last played?

shame the grass has a draw distance eh? looks an awesoem hiding place until someone is a couple of hundred meters away, then you just stick out like a sore thumb.

I know that, I was referring to the pics all the way up top, prototype looks a lot worse than GTA IV.
