Pretty much yeah. Although you don't need anything fancy - a basic stick with a throttle control is all I use.

Some people play it just using the keys but once you get past hopping around in the Cessna 172 and move on to the heavier aircraft a stick and throttle becomes a necessity.

Yes the devs are looking to update it in time for xmas holiday but Im not sure if the JDAM is in or not. They have javelin missiles as well apparently but wont use them because its too good, one side having it would unbalance the game
