In that place I get around 25-30fps and it looks just as good / better, try a autoexec.cfg, I dont have AA enabled though since its unplayable.

this game is awsome, most fun i've had since carmageddon, however, the menus etc are carp, if it had a better gui - if only in the multi player area (ping-players etc) , it'd be a bigger hit i reckon.
