The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

Dennis - does SH5 run smooth for you ? I get annoying "stutter" - almost micro-stutter esque - with my 4890 + Quad - but frame rates accoring to FRAPS stay high - I'm on Cat 10.2.

Well, the framerate gets quite low when in the outside view - like 20 fps and feels "sluggish", but inside the sub it is always high. Stuttering? - no I don't think so but then I am not really particularily sensitive to such things .

Gotta throw in a few RTS screenies

Wow those Flight Sim X shots are breathtaking, almost photo realistic it seems. Although I have the admit the model of the plane lets those screens down a little bit, especially of the frontal external view of the plane. Those cockpit shots more than make up for it though, eye wateringly good!

Thanks, glad you like them. I do agree on the external plane view, that particular model of the F-18D is rather old, @2-3 years old I think. More recently produced airplane models do a much better job, some of them are actually really excellent. Take this B-52 I recently purchased, it is modeled by same people who made that F-18D, just more recently made. Check out the screenshots below, you can see that the model looks much better and more detailed.

Enjoy these unedited FSX shots:

I paid for the game with the dragon age armour thing, but how do I get it??

Stelly

Assuming you own both DragonAge and Mass Effect 2, you simply create a BioWare Social Network Account (or if you already have an EA Master Account you can use that). Then, register both games on the site, plus enter any promo codes. All of your downloadable content will appear on http://social.bioware.com/user_entitlements.php (including the Blood Dragon Armour) when your logged in.
You will of course need to Login to both games using these credentials when you play them.
