AF/AA is on max though. One of them only goes up to x1, the other x16, this is on a XFX 5970. All the settings are on max visual quality :/

Something is wrong there as it should go up to x8AA x16AF

you need Vista or 7 for that.

(atleast that's what it was before I moved to my Windows 7 system)

XP supports AA even windows 98 did! its the game that wont let you use those settings not the OS

yea i played it with 32x AA on a GTX 460 always hit my vsync cap. and it looked really good in some areas

DirectX 9 doesn't allow you to have AA/AF, it keeps it on the lowest iirc.

Semantics.

point still stays the same, you need windows vista or 7 to get AA in BFBC2.
