im on windows 7 thank you very much im just poiinting out older versions of windows were more than capable of AA and AF

its been around for over 10 years FFS

The problem probably isn't AA or AF not working its just XP was designed for dx8 and dx9. From the vista days you had to have it for dx10. Also its probably more down to the BFBC2 engine or DICE as to the reason for needing W7 or vista.

But they aren't capable of it if the game uses other things like hdr iirc outside of dx10.

They don't look low to me.....

I get mouse lag when I put some stuff on high too (even though I get 60FPS) so maybe that's why.

Im actually running it with everything on high, hbao and vsync off, 8xaa, 16xaf.
