Thanks, I'm using 2x Zotac GTX580's. Not that FSX is SLI enhanced but it does help with running FSX at 2560x1600, hence the high amount of detail in the shots.
That would be FSX running at 2560x1600 (hence the extra detail esp when reducing screen size for posting) and using AA x8xS AF x16. Please do note, as it mentions it above the last 2 shots, they are composite shots. In other words part of the shot, in particular the grass in the foreground, is made from an actual photograph and not taken from FSX.

I rarely post in this thread as it always induces certain individuals to come out and state a reply on their problem & issues (and it is indeed *their* problem) with screen shots they don't like. Sorry to say that this is a screen shot thread and if you don't like something, that what the scroll wheel is for. So to those of you who can't seem to refrain themselves from posting negative, rude and down right condescending replies to other people's screen shot contributions in this thread, please do everyone else a favor and keep your fascist and egotistical replies out of this thread, thank you kindly.
Soya think last time someone posted plane ss there was like weeks of just solid plane screenshot only. i like the odd ones but that is why.

I for one really enjoy looking at all of the games' screenshots, especially those of games that I most probably will never play, FSX being one of them.
I do find it a tad strange that some can get so het up over something that, funadmentally, is just a podium where people can show off the games that they currently play, from an artistic point of view or just from an 'Oh my god I just clubbed that guy with a 3 foot long ***** sword' point of view.
Keep the screenies coming, will try and add some of my own in the near future

I know its at the start, but was excited after putting in my second 6950 that I bought, I can now play battlefield at ultra detail at 2560x1440 at a constant 60fps.

I think I remember you mentioning that a Jersey map might be released at some point. Any news on that? Just might have to get FSX if it were available.
There is a thread dedicated to FSX screenshots, started by you. Why not post your images in there?

because he can post them whereever he wants - is it that hard for you numnuts to understand that basic principle?
People always moan when he posts them in here. He can save the hassle and just stick them in the dedicated thread that he started.

There's no reason his screenshots should be in here any less than other game screenshots though.
It's good to have them in here. It provides variety. And lots of entertainment when people get all stressy
people dont mind one or two of each game but like already mentioned especially fsx seems to spawn lets post nothing but for next week.
do agree same of anyhing is boring though.

That is being developed as we speak by a company called Earth Simulations, they released Alderney a few years ago and last year Guernsey, Sark and Herm, which was truly stunning (some screen shots here and night shots here also a video I made here). However, at everything maxed out, the scenery is very hard on the FPS but then again, so is nearly all other intense addons for FSX. Jersey is meant to be in beta stage at some point during this year with a chance of it being released towards the end of the year. However, Earth Simulations is being run by a husband and wife team and although both very talented, there is only so much 2 people can do within a certain time, so my guess is that Jersey will be out hopefully early next year.
You both right and perhaps all the folks who post Skyrim shots should post in the official Skyrim thread and all the BF3 shots should be posted in the official BF3 thread etc. In fact, lets leave this thread just for the folks who can only seem to post incredibly narrow-minded & moronic replies!
I shall continue to occasionally post my screen shots in this thread (FSX or otherwise) as this a community thread which is in the spirit of sharing screen shots of what people are playing and enjoying with possible other like minded folks. If you don't like it, don't comment and move along.
