The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker. This was the best part of the entire series with an epic boss battle, probably one of gamings finest. It's too bad that this sort of quality wasn't replicated in Mass Effect 3 :(

such a wonderful game, probably the best re game by miles and miles.

It was still crashing but Voodoo removes the broken lines that were appearing on the screen. Once installed I had to run the game from the exe file on the CD rather than the one that was install to my hard drive. Strange but it works fine and even runs as the patched version with battle mode all unlocked etc. RE2 is the best in the series, I have been dying to replay it for ages. I can only hope that one day Capcom do a remake of it like they did with the original on Gamecube.

Nice :) I personally think Nemesis is the best, but only for the improved controls and combat system, totally wish it featured more of the RPD though, best part of 2 was the fact you spent 70% of the game there.

About the Resident Evil 2 Remake, you and me both, and about 90% of the gaming community. Yet Capcom won't listen? :confused:

The memories come flooding back, great game, very atmospheric, I seem to remember..


To another post regards knocking graphics in screenshots, it’s personal choice what people like. Some games have terrific gameplay and not the best graphics, doesn’t mean don’t play the game or share the screenshot.
Its interesting to see various in-game screenshots, you can always wonder off and read a review regards the playability, at least you know what it looks like.

Terrific shots of resi 2, glad to see you got that going.

Don't have the 2nd on the pc myself, ill have to be content with the ps version.

Post some more though, looks a peach:)

Not got very far but have the alternative outfit for Claire and the 6 shooter pistol. Some people may cry at the graphics but I've got a thing for retro games at the moment. Also going through the original Unreal and Deus Ex :)

Nice to see someone else playing through retro games at the moment. None of the new releases have gotten me too excited.

Honestly that game (RE2?) doesn't look that bad. It's got art style. Deus Ex (I actually posted some screenshots of that a few pages back) looks terrible. It all looks like this:

Not a PC game but I also recently played through Chrono Cross and that game looks great despite having about 2 polygons because it has a genuine art style to it.

Deus Ex looks terrible because it's all the exact same concrete texture copy pasted.

Nice to see Morrowind looking good too. I really hope someone overhauls those character models in a mod at some point though, they still look bad :(
