OK so not technical high-res now, but it was in 1998! After about an hour of trial and error I managed to get the PC version of Resident Evil 2 working perfectly in Windows 7 and using the Voodoo hardware renderer to boot!

If it hadn't been for MP1 and 2 I wouldn't have played this game. I can't understand how some popular review sites awarded it 9/10...
Just sharing the pain
I told you how to do that LOL glad you got it working though.
It was still crashing but Voodoo removes the broken lines that were appearing on the screen. Once installed I had to run the game from the exe file on the CD rather than the one that was install to my hard drive. Strange but it works fine and even runs as the patched version with battle mode all unlocked etc. RE2 is the best in the series, I have been dying to replay it for ages. I can only hope that one day Capcom do a remake of it like they did with the original on Gamecube.
I'm more interested in this -165 degrees on the GPU
What is the software you are running to monitor temps etc?

I've got a thing for retro games at the moment. Also going through the original Unreal and Deus Ex
