Ground textures came out very nicely in this shot.
This was a tricky one: An Ancient and Elder dragon simultaneously on master difficulty with with hardcore Deadly Dragons preset. Epic battle lasted from sunrise till sunset.
The getting caught in the Ancients fire breath without having a ward up was instadeath, no matter how brief

If it hadn't been for MP1 and 2 I wouldn't have played this game. I can't understand how some popular review sites awarded it 9/10...

Well I finished it. This was one of the most frustrating and least rewarding games I have played in years.

There's plenty of screenshots posted all the time that some may not find aesthetically pleasing but most people don't say anything, and Max Payne 3 was recently released so obviously they'll be lots of screenshots posted.

OK so not technical high-res now, but it was in 1998! After about an hour of trial and error I managed to get the PC version of Resident Evil 2 working perfectly in Windows 7 and using the Voodoo hardware renderer to boot!
