The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

wholey blur brightness batman

please tell me you just doing those settings for screenshots and not actually playing like that as youll have no retinas left in a year otherwise.

They did a fantastic job with the modeling in Tomb Raider. The expressions etc are so good, you know exactly what she's thinking / feeling.

Proto, those are stunning shots. Imo, some of your best yet.

I took one look at them and wanted to be there. :)

The pics almost beg some words to make them into a story.

You have some weird obsession with putting down almost everyone's screenshots, especially some of the amazing Skyrim ones we see on here. It's pretty weird dude, the amount of depth of field in those shots is bang on realistic, unless whenever you look at somebody/something in the foreground you stare right through them? Then, you'd still get blur in your eyesight in the foreground as you'd be concentrating on the distant objects.

I find it baffling when you have to explain how the human eye works to another person.

+1, safest bet is just ignore him an move on.

I have to agree with you on this one! Whenever ~DG~ comments on anyones shots, there rubbish and stupid angles and not how you play the game etc etc, yet his are pretty poor and he rates them as if they are the worlds best:confused:

I don't see the world like that.
Are my eyes broken?

Me neither, it's only understable to me if you constantly have your eyes fixed to the centre/crosshair in the game. If I focus on a point or object in the game then everything else naturally has that blur effect you're artificially adding. for eg, what if your eyes quickly divert from the character in that screenshot to the trees behind her? You see blur until you move the mouse.. Hey, I don't care how you play your games, if you like it then that's your prerogative, it just feels terribly awkward and unnatural in-game for me.

the skyrim shots in my opinion are terrible way over bright the blur focus is messed up

if your eyes are like that in real life go to the opticians immediately or hospital

the back ground is that bright it actually burns my eyes :p

Rubbish, have you never been outside in the Spring/Summer period? Sure right now in real life it's dark and misty, but that's because it's a **** time of the year, if you think those screenshots are too bright for a harsh summer type period, then you really need to make an extra special effort to experience this summer.
