RO2 Vietnam with some SFX - HDR is a touch too much but for £9.99 this game looks and plays great, plus it's Vietnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam.

Not a huge fan of the game either, makes some pretty big mistakes when it comes to fundamental mechanics and storytelling but I have to agree Blood&Wine is a very good DLC. Great value for money and the map is very well thought-out.

@V F

I think Toussaint was modelled mainly after Southern France but it has a whiff of Italy as the regions are similar, pretty cool setting.

I can see why people rate the game so highly but for me it is just incredibly tedious, speak to someone for about 15 minutes and have like 5 different options of dialogue to come back with after every lecture a NPC gives me then travel to some where else and have another 15 minute lecture, rinse and repeat.....

Combat is still pretty poor too imo.

It doesn't help matters when the UI is appalling to look at and use which is made only worse with the sheer amount of pointless crap in your inventory.

But I digress..... :p

There was one that was sooo bad on Horizon Zero Dawn. Talk to this ex Banuk guy, get some oil, he drinks tell a story, go kill another machine, bring back some oil for him, drink and tell a story. Think you had to fight every big beast after bringing him back some oil each time for more stories.

It was like roll eyes and end damnit!

Yup, tedious to say the least! I really don't get how people can enjoy that sort of the stuff, to me, there is just so much waffling/pointless lectures that add nothing to the main story/game.

That's why I thought the game was too long for it's own good. Making it 2/3x bigger than W2 and cutting out all the pointless stuff would've been enough. You can't sustain a 100h+ experience relying on dialogues alone (and I love dialogues in games, were it not for them I probably wouldn't play it as it doesn't really excel in much else, except maybe some parts of the world), rather poor combat and overusing Witcher senses. It gets old pretty quickly. Gwent was nice for a while.

I can also see why people hold it in high regard (well, to an extent) but I don't see the magnificence of the main story anywhere. I can appreciate some of the dialogues, characters etc. but the plot itself was very average and not exactly brilliantly planned in terms of pacing (with one exceptional segment the quality of which the rest of the game failed to reach).

EDIT: Some parts of the world also have very good atmosphere, I give it that as well

I'm interested what they'll do with Cyberpunk.

Yup pretty much the main reasons I'm playing it atm, atmosphere/map/town design, graphics and some of the monster fights are decent enough to keep me coming back for now. I also like the brutality of the fights i.e. slicing heads, arms off and bodies in half :p :D

Overall, fallout 4 was much better/more enticing to play.

Can't wait for cyberpunk, the setting/world looks just like my type of thing :cool:

And that is me done with this game now (at least for now.....), I just can't handle the 15 minutes of waffling every time I encounter a NPC! :p :D
