Those into STALKER games... give MISERY for CoP a go if you haven't already. It's really good and very difficult, especially at first. It just adds so much more micro management like cooking and weapon repairs etc. It's great.

The stalker series of games are still holding their own after all this time after release and 4K gives them a nice little boost.

Wouldn't surprise me if the game only uses 1 CPU core or something.

I was using the "graphics and sound overhaul" the first in the list of top mods on Nexus. It included vegetation, an enb, textures I think, but most importantly view distance which is set to 60 (default for the mod is 20 so I guess the game's default would be 5 maybe?). It is probably rendering things I can't actually see in that first screenshot, over the hill.

This is on a 4770k @4.4GHz and a 7970.

City of Pripyat looks amazing. I really need to get into the stalker games - I've been saying it for years. I found the first too slow, but never got round to trying the others.

Some FFXIII with SweetFX, 4k to 1440p DSR + 2xMSAA. I know the game's mostly a corridor affair but I honestly can't believe how good it looks for a 5 year old title, gives many newer games a run for their money. I found it really addicting, despite all the negative reviews it got (maybe because I haven't played a FF game in years and it genuinely feels like a breath of fresh air on PC).

Since the SweetFX profile I'm using is a bit overblown, here's a vanilla screenshot:
