lush Boycey.....you boyz not playing War Thunder anymore? I've picked it up again this week and been on it constant awaiting FO4 lol.

I hop on from time to time mate but the majority of peeps are sick of it now, I go on for a bit when im bored but the second I get annoyed have to quit before I lose my temper. Add me on steam and gimme a shout when im about playing.

Username is same as here

Initially I thought the graphics looked the same with the last patch for AK but I'm not so sure tbh, the game does seem to look a little better, some textures still look a bit low res. though:

As always, remove the h before .png for full size versions.

Oh, that is a nice extension, installed! :)

Locked to 59FPS with a frame latency of <20ms 95% of the time with some dips to 40's, I had to do a few things to get it running nice and smooth though:

- first lock FPS to 59 via riva tuner (FPS target in game set to 60)
- fullscreen mode with vsync on in game
- change cpu priority to high for the game in task manager
- when the game has started, you need to alt-tab, for some reason the FPS is around 30-40 if not alt-tab, much like GTA 5

Everything on max except no AA, chromatic aberration, film grain or motion blur and only gameworks rain effect turned on + I'm using Kputts sweetfx config

What mods are you using there- it looks great!

I'd just like to repeat this please, which mods!!!

I'm running an RSS/RO game so some of what I've done won't apply to stock KSP.

To install everything easily use CKAN. Most stuff is on there and it manages dependencies for you.

The general gfx mods that work on both RSS & Stock KSP I'm using are:
DOE
Planetshine
Scatterer

The cloud textures etc are done by RVE. Be warned though it's buggy as hell. I made a minor config file tweak to make my clouds more detailed. There's a port of RVE for stock KSP called SVE that looks pretty good. Failing SVE then the Astronomers Visual Pack and its dependencies will do.

If you want to max everything out (RSS has an option for 8GB textures for example) you're going to hit the ram limit very quickly. Unless you use linux or the Win 64bit Workaround you'll crash on launch.

Here's the album I took that pic from. It's a Gemini mission recreation I did. I'm doing a semi-accurate historical playthrough. The next program's Apollo.
