Is there a way to actually earn em$ in game?...

Currently playing the free version, then was considering upgrading then I realized that you have to pay so much money for either 3/6/12 month packages, the basic 3/6/12 month ones come with nothing, the starter packages cost around double the price and you get some free guns/items.

I then looked at the store, to realize that it looks like a big micro transaction ****fest.

49$ for 5000em$

500em$ for crossbow, so basically £3. This is not including all the other crap, like scent covers (which have a max use).

Seems like a rip off to me, if they are going to have a subscription, increase the price, implement a valid in game currency that can be earned by selling trophies.

Or make it free, 100% free, all animals hunt-able but other weapons + items MUST be bought through MT.
 
you can do free ways of earning ems

check the site and forums also when you login to your account to play it says Earn em$ on offers .

buying a basic 12 month license which is 44 dollars which is 28 pounds you get

that alone has about 3000 ems worth of equipment which would be 27 dollars on its own then you have the years license.


thing is once you buy your stuff its yours forever . also you can enter comps for all your items which are daily and win ems for finishing in certain places. the comps are very active and make the game.

i basically brought all my gear from winning comps ;) and i own every item there is !

so some may think its dear but look at any modern game that does evolve and add extra content all the time and for 30 ish quid a year for what you get i think for a pure pc title its worth it.

also if new islands or animals come out during your license period you just hunt them and you dont have to pay to hunt them as you already own the license.

also mp should be pretty soon aswell.
 
Nah don't fancy paying £40 for something that only lasts a year and you only get so much, don't fancy having to shell more money into it to get some new equipment, I certainly don't want to sit and complete surveys to earn em$.

Aw well.
