The Hunter

Mentioned on one page back I to suffer and get real sick playing this game due to head bob.

I have to disable it in ARMA as well but I cant in this game :(
 
lol bad shooting but nice moose :D

you have to aim for the specific parts of the body like heart/lung

the animals are done very realistic towards where you hit them and bad shots mean along time trekking to find them if you do a bad shot.
 
I play this from time to time when the mood takes me, but I've so got to be in the right mood. It can be a very long and slow walk before you hear anythin or spot a track of something that you can be bothered to follow, let along spot something that's actually worth taking a shot at.

But the scenery's nice...which is err nice.
 
thing is blonde like i said to banana today when he was playing it if you learn put effort in it isnt like that very often at all.

its a game with a learning curve which is refreshing in pc games nowdays :p

once you understand and have learned about each animal and each island you cant hunt and do very well quite quickly .

ive played it since this thread started so four years . so for me i know game inside out but for newer players its not so easy which is understood but it is very rewarding for the effort to trophy sized animals.
 
Oh I'm with you and I appreciate the subtleties of the game, it's just that more often than not my concentration wanes or my patience runs out before I get to that trophy animal. When I'm in the right mood things do happen relatively easily..it's just the getting to and staying at that point that I've been lacking.
