yeah if you scare one most likely they scare the others as they run off ;)

also if you see a decent buck or biggish animal dont think god damn im gonna shoot that :D give it a few minutes just incase theres a bigger one around.

i call the little does side swipers . youll suddenly spot a really big animal took awhile but hes there you just go to shoot him and some silly female spooks him :p . once you learn the game you will know when to shoot when to wait where to look.

some of the real monster biggies you will only see once in a yr ! so if you blow a chance like that it guts you but when you get ones like that you feel real reward for your effort.

quite a steep learning curve but i like the challenge and thats why i play it. stick at it and read the guides it will help .
 
Yeah will stick at it. Especially as I've spent about £30 on it!

At the minute enjoying the relaxing pace. Nice way to relax after the stresses of a call centre!

Well, I've been playing with the free membership for the last few days, and it's as fun as I remember it before.

I'm still not sure if I'll get the paid membership yet. There are a lot of cool extras of course, but I'm not sure if they'll actually add longevity to the game, or if they just add a bit of padding. Any paid members care to comment? Basically, has it been worth it for yourselves :)

Ah screw it, I'm going to go for the Trailrunner bundle.

However, if I go for a package like that, will the new area(s) and animals be added to my subscription when they become live? For example, I won't have to pay extra to be allowed hunt grizzlies in the Canadian Woods later in the year?

Ah screw it, I'm still buying it :p
 
Ok I started playing the free unlimited trial. been running around 3 hours to kill 3 deers or what ever i am killing, but I get zero points:( why? is it because I do "headshots" Man I trace around to find nothing i crouch walk most of the time.

Give dom the noob some tips
 
ok noob guide you get score for male deers only ! males have antlers :p

you want to focus on meadows till you get grips of the game it aint fps game it requires stealth bit of thinking and learning.

look on forums theres loads of guides . mine is here

follow that route and you should bag some deers . you can shoot females but they dont score. there are some female comps but most are for buck deers .

good luck with the game and have a bit of patience youll get there ;)
