Are you going to argue that the BBC attempted contact with a phone call (which could be missed) and an email (which has no excuse to be missed).

...and got no reply.

Whatever you call adequate has to be repeated for every complaint they ever get. The very least someone making a serious complaint could do to help their own complaint is reply when more information is needed. On the contact details they gave!

I think the take-away lesson here is that f you're going to solicit sexual titillation from children, you're best making sure they have a fatal 'accident' so you can avoid future blackmail.
