The Indoor Riding/ Zwift/ TrainerRoad etc. Thread

I am larger, so get very little draft on Zwift really. Smaller people seem to hammer along while drafting!

I've been crap this week. Cleat broke on the way home last night and I've twisted my knee so I drove in this morning. Ugh.
 
I'm going to jump on tonight after a bit of a break due to people over/ logistics. My knees are still giving me jip though, so that's fun. Not from riding on one side, but still hurts.

Good work on your riding Roady. Would be interested to see what the program is like.

There is the specialized challenge on at the moment, cover 50km gives you a ticket to the raffle. Cover it on each of the 3 courses gets you 3 tickets to win a Specialized Roubaix or Ruby.
 
Did 40min last night and christ I genuinely nearly puked. I was pushing hard and legs felt strong (aside from this morning my knee hurting) and I was smashing some climbs... then my lungs gave up on me and maxed out at 185bpm HR and nearly choked on air from my fan blasting me :D tragic.
Span about about ~2-2.5w/kg until I got rid of my stitch and didn't think I was going to die, just in time for the reserve bridge sprint, which I smashed, got the green jersey and hit 1150W. Then nearly puked again.

All in all, td;dr nearly puked.
 
Hahahahahahaa I'm still waiting for my flux to arrive, it's been delayed so much I've been trying to negotiate getting a Neo for a very pleasing rate. Not worked yet, but regardless, she's going to **** a brick when she sees the new one in there, along side the others :o
 
Distraction tactics is a fine art, good luck on your incoming purchase.

Currently communicating with place I bought from to coordinate a "working from home" day to accept delivery whilst trying to come up with reasoning that will result in nothing more than a slap and 2 day huff.... as opposed to full on murdering.

Good luck to you too, sir. It is indeed an art form. I will go for the swap out tactic and wait for her to notice the new one and then get punched for a while. Hoping my skin doesn't bruise too much like a ripe peach.
 
Hey, I'm back! I think I've gone up 3 weight categories. Currently have a sickness bug but hoping to have a nice gentle stretch on Zwift tonight. Been working from home today, will see how my stomach feels later.

@Roady, was away from 16th Dec for Christmas and Dec in general was off with friends and family visiting etc. I'm just trying to get over this bug and then get back in to aiming for 8000km this year and putting in some decent training. Slow start...
 
Not that I've found, which is annoying. I'd like to "stop" an event or workout, and then carry on riding but not have it affect my other ride, but you can't without coming out and going back in again. Can't like, split them off.
