O/T but MacMArt, did you get rid of that HP laptop?

I've been meaning to email you about it and completely forgot until now :/

I had 18 apps update to do so most would work.
 
Weird happenings in iMessage, all the messages I sent from me gets pushed to all devices, but the messages sent to my iPhone number does not get pushed to the iPad.

Anyone know how to fix this?
 
Just realized this morning barely any of the music tracks are playing.

They are listed you can press play and then nothing silence!. Looks like ill be re syncing all music later..Actually it can wait 4S is due Friday :D
 
Updated my iphone 4 this morning without any issues, ill do the ipad latter as off to work soon.

Also iv just had a email from vodafone saying my 4S 32GB white will be ready for pick up at 1pm tomorrow Happy days:)
 
How do I sync my ringtones (ringtone)

Its on my iphone in ringtones but dont know how to get it into library if its needed there. I tried selecting sync ringtones but mut then all my music disappeared so i cancelled it
 
Ive finally got the update working but miffed by new matter. My existing iTunes ID is no longer registered on my iPhone since setting up new iCloud details and this is now set on the itunes on the phone, they both use same email address but with different passwords. The iTunes on my laptop also uses the existing ID. What on earth do I use, this new iCloud ID?? If I am using iCloud from now onwards should I not be concerned of existing iTunes iD on laptop (don't have any purchases on there)
 
Not sure I understand the new notification system. Was playing with iMessage last night and, when I received a message, sure enough I get a notification flash up in the bar at the top.

Problem is, this is transient and disappears after a second or two. At this point there's nothing to tell me I have notifications waiting. Sure I can pull down the notification area and see them but, unless I do this, there seems to be no indicator to tell me I have anything in there, I have to actually check myself.

This can't be right surely? Renders it next to useless IMO.
 
had problems signing into itunes, said I needed to update my account from to an apple id but when I did that im pretty sure ive ended up with 2 different accounts. I wont sync my purchases with the new one but the old one seems to work again. im confused.

In the settings you can change whether each app displays as a popup or a notification.
 
Just run it on my iPad 2 and its gone straight through so last nights 3200 thing was definitely a server load issue.

Think he means there is no icon in the status bar to indicate you have anything waiting.

I personally prefer it this way as your only going to get the banner if the phone is unlocked - usually will be in my hand at this point :p

Otherwise goes to the lockscreen for me to see.
