All thats on there is stocks and weather.

I want twitter, mail etc

There all turned on in settings just not showing up

What's not showing up? Do you have unread notifications from those apps to be shown in notification centre?

I was under the impression tweets from people i follow will appear there ??

It just shows messages to you on twitter (DM or @yourname).
Facebook similar, but also comments on your status.

I just asked it "Call my girlfriend"

It replied "who is your girlfriend?"

So i said her contact name .. done.

You are wrong indeed. Only notification show in notification centre. So in the case of twitter, direct messages and mentions will give a notification. All notification centre does if keep everything in one place and stop you being inturrupted by the old pop up style alerts.

Hmmm, a little confused as I can watch and view my iP4 photos and videos on my HDTV via my ATV2.

One is it games that I wont be able play on my HDTV?

Yep airplay mirroring and AirPlay are different things.

Normal airplay is supported by iPhone 4, e.g video, music and specific applications let you show your content wirelessly using AirPlay.

On iPhone 4s and ipad2 you can do the above, plus the added benefit of mirroring so it outputs everything onto your tv over AirPlay, home screen, safari, FaceTime, games.... Everything.

To those asking also, you just need apple tv2 plus said device.

I've been using it for over a week with no issues at all. Probably just down to volume of people trying to update again.

But it didn't remember, I got the same prompt when I tried another text.

/edit - Oh very clever, I just said to Siri "My wife is Mrs. Feek".

"Do you want me to remember that Mrs. Feek is your wife?"

"Yes"
