Am i just being stupid or is iDisk being phased out?

I hope they come out with a new premium service next year. Do our MobileMe/.mac account just cease to exist next year, so email gone.
 
I've updated my ipad2, is there any way to have the non tabbed safari back? I do. Or like the tabs as with more than 3 open it is har to see which is which!
 
Beware wi-fi sync (and not just on the 4S). My 4S has been constantly trying to complete a wi-fi sync for several hours today, and it only stops trying when you stop it, or something else intervenes (like a flat battery).

I'm not sure whether iCloud would have the same issue, but it might, so keep an eye on that too.

PS - Yes, I think iDisk is going away. You'll have to find someone else to do that for you.

PPS - Siri on a 4? Given that it has to phone home to Apple to do anything useful, Apple will soon put a stop to that (and they already have).

Email isn't going, it's just iWeb hosting, iDisk and the ability to sync certain items on the Mac i.e. system preferences.

Ah right, I couldn't work out if I'd bought more storage before the changeover (I know I had paid for the extra storage once upon a time).
 
Ballsed something up, need help. I created a folder on my Mac for wallpapers for my 3GS. I deleted it before I synced my 4S because they were low res and I didn't want them. After I restored my 4S with the 3GS backup, I saw I'd deleted the default wallpapers, 'photo library' or whatever it's called and only had the Camera Roll. I re-downloaded the iOS 4 wallpaper collection, but I can't figure out how to put them back 'where they belong' because if I make a 'photo library' folder and sync to that, then I get the original folder return and also a duplicate folder. Annoying! How do I fix? I don't want to do a clean restore if I can avoid it.

EDIT - if I go into Settings > Wallpaper then the wallpapers are still there in 'wallpaper' but my 'photo library/album whatever it was called is still missing. Derp! :/

Given the option to send SMS if iMessage is not available, it'd surely be very confusing if they weren't as you'd end up with a disjoint conversation.
 
Installed Lion on my Mac Mini and it is lightning fast now!! Is that supposed to happen? Not that i am complaining! The Mac Mini is only a day or so old and i was entitled to free upgrade to Lion.

One thing though, my mouse scroll is opposite to what it used to be!! Can that be reverted?

Okay, I deleted the photo cache and made a new folder, the photo library thing re-appears... and obviously if I make new albums within the camera app out of things from the camera roll they're all added to it, I guess it's just 'lost' the link between the wallpapers in the OS and them being displayed in the photo library. I can live with that bug.

Yes you can reverse it. I'd stick at it though, esp if you're using a Trackpad. After a few days I forgot it had been changed, and it feels natural as an iOS user as it's unified direction-wise.

They're not for me :(. Two different threads - makes no sense!

I've also noticed that if I send photos from my iPhone with iMessage, they appear on both my iPad and iPhone, but if from iPad it only shows on iPad. Odd.

Oh, and how do you know if they sent you an iMessage or SMS if it's in the same thread (and grey)?
