Two ways of doing it

1) buy something that will create photo galleries on the net. then view these on your phone. Numerous NAS devices will do it,

2) you could always put whatever photos you wanted to share into your dropbox public folder ?

Sorry if its been posted already, but how did you guys manage to put the news stand app in a folder?

Drag two icons together so that it will make a new folder, let go and quickly grab news stand and drag that to the folder. Have to do this whilst the animation for the folder creation is on going. News stand will then drop in there with the other two apps.

However opening news stand within the folder will crash the springboard - no suprise there. To use it again just drag it out of the folder.

I ****ing hate iTunes!

-It's not letting me update my phone as the update is still timing out after attempting to process the file.
-Apparently the PC I'm on is not the usual PC I sync it on, despite never using on any other computer for this phone ever. This means my stuff will be erased if I try and update/restore.
-My music is still messed up, just like other people's: (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3373134?start=0&tstart=0)

I almost feel dirty

4 iOS devices in the household, and 2 macs. My main iMac was on the beta of OSX 10.7.2 and the beta of iTunes and an iPhone 4 running iOS 5 beta 7.

Even with that added compilation, i countered not a single problem updating the entire lot.

I did get an unknown error when attempting to do my lads iPod touch, but iTunes just automatically did a shift restore for me to sort it. Job done.

Anyone got a solution to why I don't get notifications from a lot of my apps?
They are all on in notification centre and have either banners or alerts selected.

Some of the apps that aren't notifying are, facebook, twitter, sickipedia.

Anyone experiencing the same?

Have you got the new version of the app with the new style news feed ?

The "notifications" part of the Facebook app has been removed altogether now, as all your notifications go through notification centre.

Updated my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 without any issues.

Went to update my wife's iPhone 4 and when trying to restore from backup I simply got an error -50. Can't seem to find a fix, so she's lost all of her settings, notes etc... she's not best pleased!

I couldnt restore my 4S from the backup from my 3GS. In the end i had to do it as a new phone.

i dont think its possible / the best thing to to anyway
you need to set it up as new, then install all apps music etc after

How does Find My iPhone work? If I lose my phone, can it still be found if it's not connected to the Internet?

I've noticed since IOS 5 that I don't hear the locking 'click' noise after ending a phonecall from the phone being in locked mode. I wonder is this deliberate or a bug? I always found it very useful as you were certain the call was finished.

Mine backed up perfectly, calendar, contacts, apps, photos even the alarm

No problems so far apart from not knowing how to remove photos from the photostream. (which i have now turned off)

Dont think so, just wireless, 3g or wap.

If someone finds it and turns it off then no, I dont think its possible to find it just from the phones GPS
