***The iOS 5 Thread***

Is iOS 5 just like iOS 4.x.x interms of themeing?
Can you theme just as is on 4.x.x? Or have they done some major changes which means the jailbreaking community need to start all over again interms of themeing and apps?

As far as I'm aware, theming is the same as in 4.x.x Obviously, some theme content will have to be added for things like the notification center.

In terms of apps, well, I don't believe the community will have to start over. I can't imagine the app creation process changing much.

Whether tweaks and apps will need to be rewritten completely is dependent on what Apple has changed in iOS 5. It could be that some tweaks rely on a part of iOS that has been removed.

Either I'm been abit stupid or I have an issue with my iPhone running IOS beta 7. Where the hell are the option to activate voicemail?

Its setup I.E if I dial my voicemail I can access my mailbox, but if someone rings me it doesn't go to voicemail if I don't answer.

Where are the options on iPhone I think they should be in Setting >phone thats where call waiting etc etc are in but no voicemail option, could someone just check for me please

This is done per network not a setting inside the iPhone.
* - What network are you on?

T mobile , it was working fine pre to the beta, when you ring your voicemail it appears to be set up.

Sure there was a setting like on nokias activate voicemail/call forwarding etc etc ?

I think:

- iOS 5.0 GM released tomorrow after the conference
- iOS 5.0 Final to be released on release of new iPhone
- New iPhone to be released 14th October

:)

Surprised there was no talk of a GM...

EDIT: Actually, according to 9to5mac, the GM is incoming any moment now as the Dev Center is down for release!
