The iOS11 Thread

To get the cheap battery replacement do you have to be on iOS 11 and it running like crap? Tempted to replace the battery but I am on iOS 10.3.1 and have no issues with slowness just thinking I can get a few more years from the phone if I replace it

I don't even think it has to be running like crap. From what I understand, if you book yourself into an Apple store, tell them it's running slow and you'd like a new battery. They'l probably suggest you erase it and start again but if you insist on a new battery, they'll fit one.
Assuming the £25 offer isn't extended beyond 2018, I reckon the last few months of the year are going to be really busy with people doing this.

Is there away to re install iOS on the iPhones or is it just a matter of doing s erase and reset everything option?
With iTunes. Plug the phone into the computer and you can do a full restore of the OS.

Gutted that it looks like AirPlay2 is nowhere near ready, which means Sonos AirPlay2 support is going to be significantly delayed as well.

Ok strange one here.
On the last two betas my iPhone 8 Plus refuses to play the new film ‘Annihilation’ on Netflix, all other films and programmes are fine.
Reset the phone on both firmware’s and it’s still the same, film starts then it freezes.
Can anyone else test ?

What has happened with the weather widget on the iPad Pro? Since the 11.0 release and up to 11.2.6 it has never worked for me until several days ago. Yet I haven’t changed nothing. Now it’s updating regularly. Yet it’s been working fine on the phone since release.
