Someone on macrumours has put up a chart of stock levels for all the phones today and they haven't had any stock of 128gb black 7+. Thats ridiculous considering thats probably the most popular model alongside the jet black.
 
Not far away from giving up trying to do my upgrade with O2. Been trying since 0800 with no luck. Might just wait until next month to let it all calm down.
 
I must be blind as I can't find that page. Was under the impression that I had to do it in store.

Edit: Rubbish. Found it, seems both the 128GB and 256GB pluses are out of stock in the Matte black. Shame :(

Yeah, MacRumours have confirmed now that the Black and Jet Black Plus models all started on 27-29th Sept delivery. Shame but I'm happy to wait, I didn't want to cave and get Silver just to have it next week and not be 100% happy.

Just means a week or so longer with my calculator phone :p
 
Pre ordered the gold one, it wasn't the one I wanted but I don't have a phone at the moment so just going for that, still annoyed with O2 kicking me out and having to re queue :(
 
Wasn't sure what I wanted to do as I usually upgrade on S models.
Anyway, gone for the upgrade program, 128GB in Silver. Really wanted the gloss black but out of stock and tbh I think it's going to scratch really easily.
Hopefully the queue won't be too manic at Watford!
 
I had a white/silver iPhone 5 and won't go back again. The colour was nice but when the screen is off it just looks "wrong". At least with the black one the phone looks monolithic.

You couldn't pay me to buy gold or rose gold :p
 
With Apple stores etc do they normally get stock in extra on the day? So for example all the black ones are sold out however on the day would they have surplus stock for first come first served?

I'd imagine they'll have a few, although in black it will likely be only a handful based on online stock, but you'll have to be "that guy" that's getting to the store at 4am to get one :p

edit: Just noticed we have a close PC set up. i7 3930K, ROG Swift and a 980Ti

Yeah really not sure about the white bezel on the gold so have reserved a black 7 as well - may get the headphones with the money saved. Decisions!!
 
Yeah I've never been keen on the white bezel, it just looks wrong on the phone. Lovely on iPads but something that just looks wrong on the phone. But everyone is different :)
 
Thought I would get it next week but showing mid October for delivery, ordered using the app as soon it went live.

Ahhhh I did that one year never again! Once I have on colour pre ordered can I change it online or is that it?

It's a lovely set up. the 3930K is still powering through - much to my dismay as I want to downsize my case from a Corsair 800D to something smaller but it seems stupid buying a new motherboard (ASUS RIVE) and CPU when mine is still doing well. How I hate buying good hardware :p

That's for another thread though. Gimme my new phone!
 
Looks like I won't be getting one of these for a month or so at this rate. They seem to have drastically misread what models people want.

The plus in black / jet black was pretty much a unicorn from the start and the only ones you can still get with any sort of certainty are the regular 7s.
