The last game you completed, and rating (Console Edition)

Fury Unleashed 9/10

Fantastic game which I would never have bothered with if it hadn’t been recommended. Thank goodness for a unique easy mode to help me. I don’t recall any other game allowing you to choose how much healing you get or how much damage taken.

Just finished 'The Last of Us 2.'

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Its a long game and it took me over 40 hours to complete it - on several occasions I actually thought I was about to finish it only to find that I hadn't and that another adventure had started.

I would describe it as a story of love, revenge, and mercy - combined with an awful lot of sneaking about and mindless killing.

I enjoyed the story and there are a couple of heart wrenching moments in it. However, I also felt it had a couple of iffy parts where the principle characters behaved in a way that was a little out of context to what had gone before.

The gameplay involves a lot of sneaking about where you have to use stealth to take out the enemies and clear an area. Although I got killed a lot, I found it gave a great sense of satisfaction when you cleared an area after several failures.

I'd give it 8 or 9 out of 10 - and now that it's finished I actually miss it!

Uncharted 2 - 9.5/10

An absolutely epic game and I can only imagine how good it was when originally released. Brilliant dialogue, set pieces and gameplay. I enjoyed every second of it.

Yep it's up there with the best of them! Was a PS3 game as well. Blew me away how good it looked at the time.

Days Gone - 9/10

What an experience that was. Whole gamut of emotions - anger, sadness, joy, fear, you name it. A total rollercoaster.
And so close to getting the platinum but the stupid drifting trophy scuppered that. I had to delete the game or I would have gone mad from trying.

Now, I can have a day's rest before Horizon II.

Glad you enjoyed it ! Absolutely fantastic game, which does not get enough praise.

and to think, you almost dropped it right ? I know you didn’t like Boozer, but did you think he did redeem himself ?

That’s my summer holiday game to sink time into post Horizon.

Yeah, at the end I did get to like him. There were other characters to hate on instead. :p

I'm really glad it got a PC release, too. Means a classic title like this won't get lost when Sony's BC hits a roadblock. I bought the PC version at Christmas but it's in the Steam backlog and ended up playing the PS+ version instead.

By the way.. if you keep playing, you get another ending. I won’t spoil it. But it’s worth carrying on. Can’t remember what triggers it. But it’s worth it. (Think it’s random, after the game finishes)

my favourite characters were probably iron Mike and Kouri.

Completely agree. I recently completed the story myself. I’m dipping in and out to mop up but still have a lot to finish off.

One of my favourite games in recent history. Such good voice acting and characters. Properly sucked me in. Loved it.

I found the biker schtick and overall aesthetic really lame personally. I might try and go back to it but that and the main character just made me cringe all the time.

Finished Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy again on PS5. 9/10 for both.

Naughty Dog are masters of their craft! All good and leads me nicely now on to Horizon: Forbidden West! Roll on Friday :D

The Forgotten City on SX (GP). Quite enjoyable and relatively short with several endings. Although I only completed it once with the 2nd ending.

7/10.
