The last game you completed, and rating (Console Edition)

Finally got round to playing Far Cry Blood Dragon. It was pretty short but decent cheezy fun. I was thinking while i was playing i recognise the voice actor from somewhere and it turns out it was Michael Bien from Terminator/Aliens/The Rock :D The soundtrack was pretty great as well with parts that were reminiscent of Vangellis, John Carpenter and Brad Fiedel.

Doom Eternal - 8/10

I had to play on easiest difficulty and even then it was mad at times with little to no ammo and the marauder baddies almost invincible. But then it was real fun to go back and replay some levels with the cheats enabled.

Oh and I should add, it's my first game with ray tracing. I liked all the reflections in the windows.

Well that's either total dedication on your part or they changed the trophies to make them easier. :D I only got ONE trophy on my PS4 playthrough of the Remastered version.
I think they’ve made it a lot easier. Played through it twice and used a guide the second time to unlock them all. Left Behind isn’t separate anymore it’s all one plat for both. And no MP this time or trophies locked behind difficulty settings.

Horizon Forbidden West

I enjoyed it, but I seem to remember enjoying the first one a lot more. I found the map way to cluttered with the same old open world formula of repetitive objectives to clear. The controls felt a little clunky in combat as well to me, also getting stuck on things as you traversed the world, just didn't seem very fluid. After a while I concentrated on the main quest line. And that is enough for me, not bothering with platinum.

7.5/10

Pretty much my experience with it. I found myself getting a bit tired of the rinse and repeat side quests - and I think the story in the first one and discovering what happened with the ‘old ones’ made it so much more enjoyable. Guess it’s hard to repeat that with a sequel.

I will say that Forbidden West was visually stunning, plenty of wow moments.
