The Outer Wilds 6.5/10

This game really is a wonderful piece of art but it's immensely frustrating in places to the point of being rage-inducing. Lots of mechanics should have been explained properly early on as I've only just figured some things out just as i was finishing the game.

Not sure how it gets such overwhelmingly great reviews given its flaws but maybe I'm hard to please.

Finally finished Red Dead Redemption 2. Really loved Arthur's story line - dragged on a little. Felt like the game liked to sniff its own farts quite abit especially towards the last mission "red dead redemption" went on and on and on abit like the last act of MGS4.

8/10

RDR2 finished last week, 800+ hours and well worth it, great game experience, up there with the Witcher 3. Now on to Cyberpunk and Far Cry 6, but until then, some Port Royal

The Gardens Between.

Took 5 hours to 100 percent it, which is above average play time.

I played it on Google Stadia but it's available on PS4, Xbox, Switch and even mobile.

Was a very nice relaxing game with easy-medium puzzles to solve.

Made a nice change of pace for me after getting 100 percent in Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze

Just finished my 50.5 hour play through of Horizon Zero Dawn. What a game, absolutely loved this experience.
Beautiful world, really interesting and immersive sci fi story and really really addictive and deep combat system just kept me hooked.
Frozen Wilds is amazing and surprisingly deep too, well worth playing through for the full experience. The HDR is some of the best I've seen too, really amazing. 10/10.

Metro 2033 8.5/10
Metro Last Light 8/10

Been putting the Metro games off for years until I had a PC capable of running at max 1440p. Thought they were just badly optimised before, but upon playing them they really are gorgeous in parts.

Just played through The Ultimate Doom & Doom 2: Hell on earth.

and all I can say is wow I did not expect to enjoy a game with about 8 pixels as much as I did, and I'd forgotten what reading walkthroughs was like too!

The older games are the best. Once you get used to the reduced graphics I swear they’re more fun.
