The last game you completed, and rating.

done a few in the last week or so on a horror binge!

Amnesia the dark descent: 10/10. the best horror title i have ever played! no weapons etc so makes you feel really vunerable which adds to the fear! has lots of puzzle solving similar to a point and click adventure really where you find items that solve puzzles in other areas etc. the story got very gritty towards the end :)

on the back of this i looked into what the dev's had previously worked on and came across there penumbra series!

So played overture and black plague!

there are similar to amnesia but they hadnt quite grasped the horror aspect in these earlier games! Overture felt like the better of the 2.

Both are short 4-5 hours if not less

On to Requiem next which is an expansion for black plague :)

Hurry up Machine for pigs!

(also played Dear Esther when i found out thechineseroom were developing machine for pigs, another great game (well.. experiance rather than game!)

so for about £15 ive been kept busy and have played some really unique games that you cant get in big budget £40 titles

Happy face!

The Walking Dead - 7/10

Gameplay and storyline, truly amazing, became very much immersed in the way everything was panning out....

....this was until I was struck with the save game problem, episodes 3-5 were 'pre-determined', character springing back to life, references in the storyline to decisions I DIDN'T make.

Telltale games need to fix the issue, even the manual workarounds proved unsuccessful for me. Otherwise, I would have scored 10/10 for the overall experience.

Inversion 8/10

Very good Gears of war clone with a twist, not tried mulitiplayer but the story was compelling start to finish, well worth a play if you like GOW..

Just been checking it out on youtube, looks pretty good and has a nice use of physics.

It's a really good game to be fair, I dont know why they did not promote it as it snuck in under the radar for me, I took a gamble on it and I'm glad I did I just hope it sold well enough to warrant making a second.

Skyrim - it's very good but has too many flaws due to it's do/go wherever you want system, you can be underpowered in certain situations or overpowered when you level up correct skills. Still excellent game though 9/10.

Dark Souls - takes some time to understand how good the game really is, and that the game is not hard at all if you use correct build/items and go to correct locations during the first half of the game. 10/10

Saints Row The Third

8/10

The first few missions were really fun, there was a dip in the middle, but the ending was great too

The small activities were fun too, Grinkos challenge was my favourite as i like to think im quite a sharp shooter.

There were things in it that i thought were a bit of a gimmick like the changing of clothes for respect, the fact you can customise your gang, etc

The weapons were overall decent but the accuracy of the guns was horrible, even if you were firing single shots the rounds would go everywhere.

Overall I found that it was a cross between GTA and burnout (the fact you get points for driving on the other side of the road, near misses, the activities where you have to cause monetary damage, etc)

A very enjoyable game and certainly worth a playthrough :)

Dishonoured

8/10

Very Attractive Art Style.
Blink Power is a great way to shake up these stealth games
Various ways to do missions.
No Boss fights YAY, unlike Deus Ex (what a way to ruin a game)

Slow Pacing
A bit predictable.

That's pretty much exactly my review. I used Blink and Dark Vision by far the most, although

I enjoyed summoning a rat Swarm on Admiral Havelock in the lighthouse :D I think I might replay the mission by and throwing him off the lighthouse! I found the end a little too easy.
