Darksiders 2 8/10
Very enjoyable with excellent combat and voice acting. Nice length at about 35 hours to get all the collectables.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel, 6/10
+Good performance, runs over 120fps
+Outdoor visuals impress as usual with Chrome engines
+Combat with AI teammates which is something I love
+Decent range of weapons
-DoF effect is terrible, there is a delay zooming in with iron sights for you to focus on the targets
-This is compounded by weapons which are useless when fired from the hip, you have to zoom in all the time. Basically this makes akimbo dual-wielding a complete waste of time because you can't hit anything
-Characters don't feel like they are quite developed enough
-Menu options are very limited, I had to extract a pak file and do some shifting around to increase the FOV from the default of 50 which is quite frankly ridiculous
-Gameplay is pretty repetitive
-Few bizarre plot twists and strange bits of story, for example you'll be sat in the car with two other officers of the law happily chatting away on the phone with drug dealers and bookmakers and never telling them who you are talking to
-Annoying warnings about leaving the game area at certain points when trying to take a shortcut
-Not much variety of opponents
Overall the game reminds me of Kane & Lynch quite a lot - run and gun alongside AI teammates of questionable character.

God I am going to go against the grain here but crysis 3 5/10
really boring generic shooter, the chances for some proper careful stealth gameplay are ruined by how OP the stealth aspect of the nano suit is (Only used armour a hand full of times), the bow is stupidly powerful and I think it is a shame they jumped on the modern war using 16th century tech band wagon. It did look rather pretty thought which earns it a few points and it was enjoyable until I realised just how stupid the cloak was.

I think an 8/10.
Great Story, good characters, good facial acting and animations.
Slightly repetatve gameplay but i finished it without getting bored so that was ok.
Only found out at 80% through it that you can skip the driving to the next crime scene which would have sped things up.

Black Mesa 8/10 Wow, an amazing achievement by the mod team. I was completely immersed in the chaos of the research facility thanks to the great pacing, sounds and visuals. The platforming sections did frustrate me at times though.
Half Life 2 9/10- What can I say, its Half Life 2. A bit shorter than I remembered it being and the vehicle sections dragged on too long. Still its one of the smartest and most thrilling shooters ever and still looks good years later.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein - 9/10 As good as I remembered it and has aged very well, superb action!
AvP2 - 8/10 Feels quite dated now and very tough on harder difficulty but the atmosphere and tension is captured very well in the dark narrow corridors. Infinitely superior to A:CM
GoldenEye Source 4.2 - 9/10 MP or Bots only but I can't recommend this mod enough - it is insanely fun and extremely well made! A must for avid fans of the N64 original. I much rather play this over BF3 or CoD.

mate i totally agree
the bow and stealth break any sort of challenge! first playthrough on veteran, with secondary objectives finished at 4 hours and 37 minutes
i dont mind a short game usually but this one was soo linear and 1 track minded that i grew bored. the interesting looking areas were few and far between and the characters are just pants
i wouldnt pay full price, get it on discount at a site like gmg or something
the graphics were nice but im much preferring the look of tombraider, a much better game for your money

The Walking Dead. 7/10.
It was an amazing journey - very emotional and well told, with some of the characters having more emotion in their performances than other games that are superior graphically.
There were a few niggles in that the save files were messing up constantly, and some sections were dragged out a bit, but overall very good.

Tomb Raider 9/10 One of the best games ive played in a long time.
Borderlands 2 8/10.
Great game. Had many laughs while playing this, the humour was great. However I sometimes got sick to death of all the running around and fetch X quests. It's the reason I only managed to complete the first lot of DLC. As well as sometimes leaving the game alone for a couple of weeks until I started playing it again.
