One of the most important parts of the narrative is specific to the interactivity of the game version.....in that when you are faced with the scene in the operating theatre, you no longer have any agency. You cannot choose what to do. The only action available to you is to murder people.

The same device is used in the second game, in a different settings. It's very deliberate.

In fairness, these game > TV adaptations were never going to satisfy gamers as part of the experience with narrative driven stories is that elements are still uniquely conjured by the player. Having typed that, I thought the best episode of the season was the Bill back-story which was entirely new for the audience.

I thought that was a great episode. Offerman was excellent.

Yes. I was initially expecting them to put that in perhaps a third season, but looks like they’re going with it this season based on some of the ‘red’ scenes which happen after the fact.

@doodah - You're in for a great time. Was one of the better shows the year it came out. Way better than I had anticipated.

Haven't played R&C but Spider-Man & Miles Morales were both ace. Need to get the sequel. God of War was incredible and the Valkyrie fights are some of the best boss fights I've done. Yet to play Ragnarok though.
