The Last Of Us

need some help guys

am further on than the radio tower so if you dont want to no stop reading now...........................ok i have just reached the University and dropped down in to the basement i can take out all the normal infected and clickers but i have one of those big armoured buggers with me and i cant get past him, do i just run or can they be taken out with some thing

molotovs are useful against the bloater, I'm afraid you have to sneak around taking out the normal ones first though. Should be easy enough with the bow

or do what i did if you have the security pass already. Work the fastest route back to the pass door from the generator and just sprint straiught to the door and out worked for me never took a scratch.

Your prob throught it now but

At the time i did that i stealthed past them all with a combination of bottles and bricks to distract. At the end i just watched the bloaters patrol a few times and got round it that way.

Altho it was a bit butt clenching as i didnt realise his path came so close when i was at the end of the corridor. Luckily opening the barricade was ascripted event or they would have all heard me for sure, but it was a nice touch to see the bloater banging on the door after i got through.

Fantastic game, completed it for the first time last night.

I ended up killing everything instead of stealth & only near the end realised just how powerful the bow is (stealth kills), great story & good game-play.

A question, not saying what it is (to avoid spoilers) but do you get any 'choice' at the end of the game or not (only done it once & wasn't sure if the buttons I was pressing had any impact on the events during the scene).

Not a spoiler below, but just for those who have finished!

as far as im aware, this was the story they wanted to tell so no actions give alternate endings etc

But i liked that approach for this style of game :D

If anyone is still waiting for a refund from Game Stop it looks like you need to ask them before they'll issue one. I sent an email this morning as I still had not got one, I've just had this reply:

Hi Ben

Thank you for contacting GameStop

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this have caused you.
I also have to apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

The billing team should have gotten this sorted with PayPal, unfortunately they have had some system errors that we only heard about now.
I have therefor gotten permission of my manager to get this resolved for you.

The refund has now been processed for you and you should receive an email regarding this shortly from PayPal.

I hope this helped and again I do sincerely apologize for all the inconveniences this have caused you!

Kind Regards
Stine | GameStop

Moment later the refund was in my PayPal account.

I'll never use GameStop again, ever. Such a hassle.

Private sale. Guy wanted £350, I asked what he was best offer was and he said £300. Bargain :D I've see a few go for £320 ish with WD on eBay.

Second hand is the way to go. I got mine off Gumtree, boxed 3months old. £250 with Watch_Dogs, Fifa 14 and NFS Rivals. Traded in the latter two games at cex for around £40. End result, PS4 with Watch_dogs for £210. Sold my Wii U for £180. Dead happy :p

Bargain! :D Mine was actually on ebay but I did look on gumtree before hand but it appears to be full of muppets who don't remove sold items or simply don't reply.
