I went with ShopTo. More expensive but at least you're guaranteed to get it on the 12th or 13th :)

They are very good at actually getting the game to you.

The Joel Edition from Tesco was too tempting at its preorder price though....so I've got the perils of unknown delivery schedule and not fitting through the letterbox to contend with :)

Tesco have said they should arrive on the day of release.
 
Awesome reviews from what I've just read via this thread :D Me and the boyfriend are super excited to play this!!

Tesco had a deal where you got GOW:A for 14.99 for look in this thread there was a code that got you £10 of the two meaning GOW:A was only £4. But I think the Joel special edition is the only one left for pre order, the Ellie edition is now now all sold out. Or so someone in this thread had mentioned..

I've got a pre order with Tesco, going on leaked reviews so far, its looking like this might be one of the best games for PS3 yet..

As someone who plays all my games on PC...Naughty Dog seem to be the only company that bring me back to my otherwise dusty PS3.

This game looks epic and I cant wait to give it a blast.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree. I have had three games going missing and now they have said that they will block my account ongoing for investigation by royal mail. What is laughable is that I drink with my postman and another mate is a postman who works in their union. The postman is 60 odd and doesn't even know what a PS3 game is. I have absolutely no financial issues myself and found the issue very off putting. There is no way to contact shopto, that I have found, just faq pages. I have preordered TLOU from shopto and we shall see how it turns out. However, I have gone from their biggest fan to an absolute critic. You should never blame your customers for your inefficiencies. But, that's my experience, I'm guessing 99% haven't encountered it and to be honest I wish I hadn't.

Yeah Im not a fan of their customer service either, especially when it comes to missing stuff, I remember a Move controller not turning up and a subsquent order of TDU2 went wanders (I was particularly annoyed at this as it was a game I really wanted to play), the forms I had to fill out and what felt like them implying over the phone that I was basically ripping them off was a bit too much, never had to jump through hoops with other companies when its comed to missing parcels and found it very off-putting.

Never used them since...

Thank you, I will put it in my phone for the next time they screw up, the last order was a year ago, but now I'm on their "watch list". Shame, I would have liked to get a PS4 and a couple of games on launch. Amazon will get the cash now.

Just to confirm, I have ordered from other companies and they managed to deliver after this event. A company that was built by its consumers purchases, should at least be contactable when sending this kind of notification.
