Mine is the same.

I do really want to get this game, but I don't have the time to play it right now :(.

I'm going to wait before I get this, although reading what you all think will be horrible :p.

Going to see if the missus will get me this early, I've got an exam tomorrow so would be a nice way to wind down and enjoy my weekend hhmm

I'll pick it up next month which will hopefully be less hectic than this month! :cool: it looks marvellous though.

It is one of two Playstation 3 games I will be buying before the Playstation 4, the other game being Grand Theft Auto V :).

<boooooooooo>

Extra cool owning a class game with my name on it too

:D :cool:

Was the box able to fit through your letterbox? My only problem now is that if Tesco does dispatch it in time for tomorrow that it may not fit through my letterbox as no one's home anymore this week (and the depot closes before I'd have time to get home and back to town).

Postman had to knock to deliver my Joel edition, and the box was crushed slightly

If people are worried about missing deliveries would your work not allow you to have the item delivered there?

I know several teachers that order things to be delivered to their school and other working people who do this.

My colleagues have tried getting stuff delivered here, but it didn't work out well. I work at a hospital so it'd have to go through the mail sorting before it reaches me, and according to colleagues who've tried that in the past, they weren't able to collect their stuff in person and ended up taking way longer than it would have to just get it from the depot the next day. And I only found out earlier this week that no one would be home, which was apparently too late to change the address :(

Ah poo, that doesn't bode well. May have to leave a note on the door and ask the postie to drop it in through the little window next to the door (if they'd do that).

Ah, didn't know you worked in a hospital. You should have asked a friend or family member that is close by if you could have it delivered there, or a trusted neighbour :), although it helps that there are a fair few older people living near by who will always accept parcels if they see me not in and will more often than not just bring them round or come and tell me they have them when they see me getting home.

I've had all sorts delivered to my house and I've had things delivered at friends house for similar reasons, I've even house sat waiting for deliveries.

I emailed DPD saying leave with neighbour, returned home to the card saying "under playhouse in garden" lol :)

Years ago, we had two regular post men (an old man and a young Chinese fitness nut) who knew (ish) most of the people on their rounds and would come up with some pretty ingenious hiding places.

We now have some many different ones (including one utterly drop dead gorgeous punk girl) and so many different couriers that this is pretty impossible to build up a relationship so they all know where to leave things. Although some of the private couriers get creative or leave things with neighbours and just write letters explaining.
