The Last Of Us

So far I've heard that Tesco are usually okay with pre-orders, so I'm hopeful it'll arrive on release day. I'll become severely depressed otherwise. :D
 
Tesco are pretty damn good the few times Ive used them, even when they decided to discount FIFA12 for launch day they gave discount vouchers for the same value to everyone that pre-ordered

Sounds promising in that case!

Just watched an interview (won't bother linking as apparently nobody else is watching this stuff but me :p), Neil Druckman said that the digital download version uses ND's own in-house developed system to download the first 50% of the game and allow you to start playing whilst it downloads the rest in the background. It won't require double the free space as downloaded titles usually would, and it's using ND servers so it should be faster.
 
I'm considering a pre order for this from Tesco. i've read hardly anything about the game, know very little about it or seen much in the way of videos so no idea what its about other then they are well, erm the last humans on earth? sounds like I am Legend to me, but its from Naughty Dog, how can this 'not' be a good game?

Its this and beyond souls and GT6 for PS3 that makes me think... Despite the consoles failures you can't help but love the exclusives..!!
 
Click the pic in my link, I put together a whole post with some cool stuff about the game so far. You're pretty close though, a disease infected people, spread the planet, destroyed the world, and now people are trying to survive.

For me, I wholly expect this to be the highlight of gaming for me this year. I'm sure GTA5 will be amazing and awesome and I can't wait for it, but there's no chance in hell it'll have the same level of narrative as this.

Yup, I don't think the full details have been confirmed yet, except that it won't be a co-op version of the campaign. If it's anything like Uncharted though it'll have competitive team based game modes as well as a handful of co-op missions not related to the single player campaign.

I frickin hate youtube, if you watch the vid on that playstation page, it works right away. Click on the youtube logo to watch it on the youtube website and you have to sign in cos it may contain naughty little things that precious ickle eyes may see. ***** me off. Plus Ive forgotten my youtube password.
