Grim. I had patellar tenodnitis from running once and it was horrendous, was off exercising for about 3 months. Can't begin to imagine rupturing it.He ruptured his patella tendon.

Knee injury he picked up on England duty. Unlikely to be back before the end of the season apparently. VVD might though!
Most of our current problems stem from players out of position. We'd be far better off with any actual defenders at the back to allow Henderson and fabinho to play in midfield. No idea why klopp keeps persevering with no sign of improvement.
We have to play one of them next week or it surely defeats the point in signing them in the first place. Fab with Kabak would be my choice. He seems to play either CB position, is quick and seems to be good on the ball. GEt Henderson back in midfield!
Been announced that Klopp's mum died in January, explains why he's looked so drained recently. Can't even travel to attend the funeral due to COVID restrictions.
Sounds like a pretty smart move on our part to sell off that debt then!Once Messi leaves they'll have more cash available. They've become so dependent on him that they're paying him absolutely mental money - his last contract was reported at €70m per year + image rights + a €100m signing on fee.
And we're not actually owed anything by Barca anymore. Barca's accounts confirmed that we sold the outstanding payments to a financial institution. I suspect it was simply down to the fact that we wanted the cash up front when signing Alisson, Fab etc in 2019 rather than being concerned that Barca won't pay but who knows.
In hindsight, maybe but I'd question the story about Barca not playing Coutinho anymore. The chances of them selling him given the state of the market, his wages and performances, are slim so if not this season, he'll play those games next season and the clause will be triggered.Sounds like a pretty smart move on our part to sell off that debt then!
Yes, I completely agree. I'm sure we didn't expect a club like Barca to have significant financial issues. But either way, it shows the importance of managing cashflow well.In hindsight, maybe but I'd question the story about Barca not playing Coutinho anymore. As I said, I doubt the possibility of this came into our thinking when we made the decision. I suspect it was a straight forward financial decision - how much of the Coutinho money would we lose by selling the debt vs how much would we save on the 2019 transfers by being able to pay larger up front payments.
Hope we see Kabak come in then, don't fancy Vardy up against Williams or Phillips.
