I wish we didn’t play Partey straight away. Did nothing but lose control and got sent off. Ended up missing him badly in the Burnley game.
The mind just isn’t right after disappointment like that. He may think it is, but there’s no way it won’t be there for at least a few days to a week.
The way Leicester played at the weekend, your second team would probably be enough anyway. They was bloody abysmal.
Partey has just come off the plane tho. With the kind of mentality Sarah has it wouldn’t surprise me if he scores a hat trick in the first half lol.
On another note...get him signed up please.

Klopp wants to give Milner a new contract
1 year extension, I'm happy with that. He is definitely at the end of his career though he can play all over the pitch in a pinch but his value far exceeds what he does on the pitch, he has won just about everything there is to win, he knows what it takes to play at the top level from a very young teenager onward, his experiences are valuable, he's well liked, very very well respected and I think is a great influence in the locker room.
I will always be impressed that he turns up at the cup matches when the liverpool nippers are playing to give them support. I think he would/will make a terrific youth/under 23 coach. Doesnt cost us much to give him this 1 year extension, let him see out his career with us and then he can move into the backroom and become one of our coaches, playing top division football from 16 years old will give him plenty of experiences to pass on to our young teens looking to break into the team.

Is there such a thing as nothing too serious with Thiago? He's been as bad as pre-Iron Man Matip used to be for niggles keeping him out for months

Matip gone from constant knocks to staying fit some how
Matip is such a professional. Struggled with injuries a lot but whenever he plays he puts in 100% and his level is always incredibly consistent. He's so underrated because of the injuries but when he's fit he's brilliant, definitely one of the best in the world and I hope he gets the credit he deserves at the end of his career.
And yeah, copy paste the Matip treatment for Thiago.
