The Liverpool Club Thread. **No Spoilers**

Iirc from the original outline planning permission the club have, the lower tier will remain the same. The plans were just to replace the upper tier although this report is suggesting they'll do that and add an additional 3rd tier - if true I expect it'll be similar to the Main Stand with a small middle tier for corporates.

hmm last time I was in the lower centenary near the Kop and it was very cramped. Pre match food was great and halftime pies were awesome though. :D
The lower centenary was the old, original stand, the upper centenary (and of course the new upper Main Stand) was added later and built under different regs which is why the seat spacings are bigger.

You're a lot older than me so should remember but did they fully demolish the old Kemlyn stand or did they just add the upper tier to it?

For the accusation? The FA found that while they interviewed 12 different players and officials and had specialist lip readers view multiple TV angles (including ones not televised) of the incident and not one person backed up Holgate's accusation, they did believe he made his accusation in good faith. Ultimately only Holgate knows whether he genuinely misheard Firmino or whether he made it all up - short of him admitting that he made it all up it would be impossible to prove.

I suppose if anything was to be done about that then it would have directly after the game. You can only assume that Madley saw the incident (despite not even awarding a free-kick) and that's why retrospective action can't be taken.

A little bit of good news regarding Ox - supposedly he's not done his ACL and while his season is over, the club hope he'll be fit for pre-season.

If you get a ticket and don't fancy going let me know :p

I went to 5 CL games but all on my brothers friends card - I know he went to the 6th home game himself but no idea if he went to any aways to guarantee him a ticket, not that I've got much hope of him giving it to me if he does get one :(

edit: hope you get lucky but I can't imagine there will be many tickets going in the ballot. There's only 10,500 odd tickets going to ordinary fans and I'd be surprised if less than 3/4 of those aren't taken by those that attended all home games + at least 1 away. That leaves possibly just a couple of thousand tickets and upwards of 25,000 supporters that attended all home games.

I thought the allocation was around 16,000 tickets?
It is but not all those go to ordinary fans. 25% are given to corporates and ex shareholders (as part of H&G's deal to buy the club they gave the previous shareholders lifetime priority on tickets), 11% to players and staff and 1% to sponsors.

Fingers crossed our mini injury crisis might be clearing up a little bit by the CL final. Klopp confirmed that Lallana's back in full training and possibly could be involved on Sunday and that Can is now pain free and is booked in for a scan on Monday which could give him the all clear to start training, giving him the best part of 3 weeks training before the final. We've been down to our bare bones of late and haven't been able to make changes in midfield which given the way we play has hurt us. Having Lallana and or Can, even to just come off the bench in the final could be crucial.

Its only for ~7000 tickets. Did some tickets go to fans through non ballot? As that is not the 60 odd percent that is supposed to go to fans
Supporters who went to 7 games (all 6 homes + an away) are guaranteed a ticket so I'd assume that's where the other 3,500 odd tickets have gone.

In other new, seeing loads of stories about hotels in Kiev cancelling supporters advanced bookings and asking them to rebook at 10x the price! I understand UEFA want to play the final all across Europe but if a City doesn't have enough hotels to meet the demand then they can **** off.

Some people are hiring a private jet at £2k per person and it's working out cheaper than those getting regular flights as they're returning straight after the game so don't need a hotel.
Did the Hoffenheim game not count? (There were 7 home games right?) Unless it was 7 home + an away?

I'm assuming everyone who went to all home games used the autocup scheme if its still around.
Nope, the playoff game didn't count so to get 7 games you'd have needed to go to at least 1 away plus all home games.

Another unsuccessful email, 2000 odd waiting list so definitely not heading over.

Had managed to book an Airbnb for £18 a night for 3 nights so that’ll be getting cancelled too! Flights I had booked are refundable so no money lost fortunately!
Maybe offer the airbnb to some other supporters scrambling for rooms. As I mentioned earlier, lots of fans who had booked hotels for sub £50 per night have had their reservations cancelled and being asked to rebook for upwards of £1k.
