This is awesome! Always wanted one of these but my garden is far too small, one day though...

What was the stain you used for the exterior? Did you use any sort of preservative under the stain?

it wasn't stain. they put light brown wood preserver on it. then i put barn paint on inside & out. it comes out the tin like syrup :D

Just one question, do the wooden walls, floor and ceiling not affect the acoustics in a negative way? Do you not get an echoey sound?
 
i thought so too i was scared of echo to be honest

But No,

Its fair better than my the room i was in Which was Sqaure! :D
Wood Absorbs the sound very well with no Echo Effect

i think the insulation helps too! :D :p :)

some places actually sell wood panels to put in your room to help the sound lol :)
 
Smogsy. When you ordered the cabin did they install it for you, aswell as lay the foundation? All included in the price if so ?
 
i put the base down they built it within the price though :)

Cabin Comes with Single glazing (upgradable) Heavy Duty Felt, Bigger Windows (I choose smaller style) & they call it Erection (or being built) lol

they can insulate it too but costs like 7 pound a square metre for roof or 4 pound for flloor

cheaper to do it yourself :)

I'm thinking of doing something of the same but on a slightly smaller scale. I have a foundation laid for my shed. And I need to get advice if I can just extend off of that.

But your cave looks awesome! How she temps ect?
 
well had the a/c on once! that was to test it.

when it's hot outside its normally lot cooler inside.
and when its colds outside its cozy inside.

but you want temps?!
my 7990 is currently at 41c! my cpu is averaging 27c

below results are old i expect 5c+ drop on these!

or before (no A/C)
