I think it’s probably more about trying to keep the general spread down now, rather than the team per se as it’s the highest it’s been for the PL infection rate-wise since testing began.Maybe - we've not heard much. We were without 3 first team players last match due to Covid, so I suppose it depends on who's been vaccinated.
My understanding was that if a team had 13 available players (those with at least 1 senior league appearance) then the game had to go ahead.
Tbh it's better for me that this gets played another date as I was really 50:50 about going. That said, United were seemingly outplayed by Norwich last week, so it would have been a good time to have played them at home.
Expect there’ll be a few more in the coming days. Can’t see the Brighton game on Saturday going ahead either.
