INEOS first 10 months
- Extend ETH contract & sack him, costing £millions
- Appoint Ashworth & sack him, costing £millions
- Unprecedented ticket price rise
- Mass redundancies
- Overseeing worst on-field results since 1980s (28 league games, 35 points from takeover)

How many utd fans would take the heady days of the glazers being in charge of the football side of things  :D

People can laugh all they like, INEOS might not be the solution but 1) they're not going to turn the club around short term after everything they've inherited and 2) you can only pick from the choices you have and as I've always said, I still prefer this than being owned by middle eastern 'imvestment funds'.

Imagine selling your soul to the devil and still only being 1pt better off than our banter club.

Amazing how short some people's memories are. We have posters in here highlighting the redundancies of non-playing staff, forgetting their clubs were some of the first to announce using the furlough scheme, only to U-turn after backlash.

Glaziers are still responsible for it tbf, they appointed Ineos...

If it is true, it proves he wasn't the right man for the job. Southgate with one of the greatest talent pools of English players in recent times achieved absolutely nothing with them.

He had easy runs to the semi finals and finals in tournaments, and in some cases scraped through due to lucky individual goals. How would he have fared with ultimately a much weaker squad?

And yet you could still argue that he still managed to get them further than they should have got. As soon as the played someone they should have lost too they did. Probably only the Germany game.
