Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau getting more control over Star Wars is long overdue.
Imagine the world where they got control over Star Wars when Disney took over instead Kathleen "I binned the entire EU while also complaining I don't have any source material like Kevin Fiege does" Kennedy.
Lots of people are losing their minds about baby yoda eating the eggs... (saying it reflects on Mando being a bad father figure, and that baby yoda is evil etc...) seriously, I found it hilarious.
I'm glad this series exists, it's fixing a lot of the issues with Star Wars over the past 10 years.

People seriously need to find better things to do other than liking at click bait nonsense from the so called media. The so called media also needs to find something more meaningful to write about.
It’s fiction.... you either enjoy the story or you don’t. If you fall into the latter camp, do t watch it. It’s really that simple.

Oh man that was one disappointing filler episode...
[*]The lady mechanic Pelli Motto is super cheesy with terrible lines, it's jarringly bad
[*]When questioned by the New Republic Xwings Mando acts about as convincingly and as cooly as a 15 year old kid caught in a lie about his homework.
[*]A pragmatic mandalorian who knows how much he relies on his spaceship just crash lands in an unknown ice cavern and the ship cracks like an eggshell... but he fixes it with a hand repair kit... ugh.
[*]Baby yoda ate multiple “precious” eggs and the frog mother doesn’t notice and go crazy?
[*]Baby Yoda apparently understands everything being said through the robot and tries to make Mando feel guilty for not carrying out 'the deal'?
[*]New republic Xwings help kill the spiders then just fly off potentially leaving them to die?
[*][*]Zero tangible plot advancement
I am all about suspension of disbelief but this is just lazy, crummy writing and I really expected more from the second season after what a surprise hit this became and presumably how much more budget and management focus it now has. The first two episodes at least should have been a 2-part epic to further the plot before the cheesy filler crap started.
I'll watch it because it's Star Wars and that makes it enjoyable to some degree, but so far it isn't a patch on the first season in anything other than special effects.
Pretty much had exactly the same thoughts throughout. Not to mention the 1000s of spiders that just scurried about all over the place without actually attacking them. Even when one was on Yoda's head it didn't do anything.
Still enjoyed it though, largely down the visuals however. They really are incredible in some places.

You just knew he was going to go after them the moment they showed them, its not as if they did it randomly as they had already established his love for frogs in season 1. Me and the Mrs just found it hilarious...they did really well with the sound design when he sucked them in his mouth. lol.
I really liked this episode, some good suspense and added a few new characters to the mix that im sure will crop up again. The whole show is filler episodes so not sure what the comments are about there.

As I've said before, this is rather my opinion of the whole thing. I enjoy it because it's so well presented and it is Star Wars, but it's clearly 'Disneyfied' and aimed at younger kids with a simple plot and simple script. eg Ep 1 - 300ft high worm bursts through the ground, 200m from them... 3 seconds later... "There he is..." Umm, yeah, I saw that.
