US: The Mandalorian

Indeed. I, like many had high hopes for the previous 3 films and one by one those hopes were crushed.

Mando and The Child is a fun watch I find. I enjoy the humour (the storm troopers towards the end of S1 shooting blanks), the characters and environments. They’ve kept things simple for now and I feel that it works.

I think it helps that the show runner and some of the directors are very familiar with the universe and their live for it really shows. Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau being great examples. You can tell when you watch the making of series on disney+ how much the love it.

Started watching Disney Gallery for the show today.

Filoni bloody hell..... It's honestly feels like you could sit down with him and just geek out.

If these guys get more control for upcoming movies I think we are in good hands.

Got to love that he put himself into the episode. In case you missed it he played the white X-wing pilot.
It's also a nice touch that the spiders (Krykna) were featured in Rebels several times.

I won't lie, I missed it in Season 1, am I late to the party realising it was Richard Ayoade (IT Crowd) as the killer robot?

Rather short but oh so much goodness.

Bo-Katan! Also she was searching for the dark saber so she can help get Mandalor back. Got a feeling we'llsee Ashoka around episode 5.

I cheered in frog at the latest episode (3)!
However it feels like the episodes are getting shorter. This was barely 30mins and I’ve love to spend more time with the new characters to know them better.

I find it hilarious that Mando’s ship is literally falling to pieces everytime we see it.

:) Katee!!!!!!

/Clap keep it coming Disney!!!!

For thoses that don't know season 3 has been confirmed for 2021!!!!

This is the way

Finally an episode with some story advancement, it should have came sooner in my opinion. If they'd mixed the second and third into a big intro EP it would have been more palatable, the first episode while cool ultimately left me disappointed and the second did the same when it need not have.

The issues I have aside, the show looks beautiful and has some awesome audio. Even at it's worst it's still an enjoyable ride, more so when placed against the new trilogy.

Katee Sackoff is looking rough :(

In the final attack on the Empire ship i wish Mando used his jet pack to shoot across the floor instead of running into the Stroopers.

But otherwise, great episode!

I get the impression she was made up quite a bit. I also didn't realise she voiced the same role in The Clone Wars too! Love that!

Suddenly, Bosch!

If Ashoka is going to make an appearance then I wonder if we'll get to see a live action Sabine Wren too? Because at the end of Rebels it was she and Ashoka who set of to find Ezra.

Maybe, If Dave Filoni is letting them play with Asoka in live action I can't imagine Sabine would be the breaking point.

Hell I know a lot of people guessed Sasha Banks was playing Sabine when the trailer came out, they were obviously wrong but I don't see it outside the realm of possibility that Sabine appears.
