US: The Mandalorian

1 thing i think they overlooked, when mando's ship is destroyed a few eps back he finds the little lever ball that grogu likes to play with and holds onto it. Was surprised it wasn't given to him at the end. A small point maybe but they've had quite a few scenes where it's obvious he likes to play with it. Plus it was the only thing left of mando's ship.

Great episode though, the Dark Troopers are pretty heavy hitters against people with blasters.

Was funny to see Jabba's lackie pretty much become him at the end credit scene, more Chins than a Chinese phone book. Wonder how that spinoff will go.

keep away from anything movie related plz

Wut? Just about everything in the series is Movie related.

It was nice seeing Oberyn wielding a spear again :p

Also it's the small things I love about the show. Boba with the EE-3 rifle give me a semi!!!

Great episode but mixed feelings regarding the character appearance - feel it would have been better with someone else

I got the impression that the experiments on Grogu might have been an attempt to imbue himself and/or others with force powers, at least in part.
The way he knew that mando was going to spare him and that he’d already fired his volley of whistling rockets.

His face when the X wing arrived also seemed to suggest he felt the presence rather than just a standard pilot.

I almost got the feeling he was setting himself up as a new Emperor, having the Darksaber and his speeches about power and the like, the experiments he was doing on Grogu. I'm not sure if he was sensitive beforehand and aiming for more, or if the experiments made him that way.

That was until he tried to kill himself when he saw a Jedi was coming, while Luke was disinterested in him it could have been an ego thing -- and to my mind hints at there being another big bad in the timeline for future shows to address, someone he was an underling for.

I'm looking forward to seeing how things pan out.

Great finale, will be interesting to see where things go from here.

CGI on Luke was a bit off but I didn't really care, I'm just glad we finally get to see him kicking ass like he should have in the sequel trilogy. The Dark Troopers still remain menacing too as our main heroes clearly had no chance against them until he showed up. Big Rogue One Vader vibes when he clears out the corridor!

Well, I, for one, have not cried in front of TV so hard for a long, long time. Brilliant way to rise Star Wars from the pile of ashes KK left behind. Don't know how I feel about season 3 without Grogu, but I'm thankful for what we got so far.

Ahsoka said as much in her Episode, she was searching for Grand Admiral Thrawn. Reckon he'll be big bad in S3.

Im with you. Star Wars hasn’t had me shouting at the tv for sometime and elated at the end. That was a truly special end. Wow. Brought a tear to my eye and had to rewatch. Thank goodness for this series. Why couldn’t the films be this good? Thrilled Disney is now focusing on these series.

Very possible, and given the research has been done according to Gideon, is it possible we'll have a budding dark Jedi to boot?

Can't wait.

I realise you put spoilers... not going to do it myself. Anyone who is joining the read at this point without having seen the final episode must be nuts! That and a ton of people prior to me didn't bother either, so there's that.

Apparently Luke was a body double with cg face replacement played by Max Lloyd-Jones. Wasn't sure if they had done a full cg person or just the face replacement. Was very convincing regardless.

Grogu at the end looking at R2 thinking "hmmm, wonder if there's any eggs in that".
